The prothonotary and the yellow warblers.


 

The prothonotary was back today and I managed to get an image of it with a yellow warbler.

It was a good day, as well as the prothonotary we had brown creeper, scarlet tanager, and a black and white warbler.

Water snake.

I believe this is a northern water snake but I could easily be wrong. It was headed away from shore towards the other side of the bay, a distance of about 3 km - 1.8 miles. Rondeau Provincial Park, June 21, 2023.
