Pink Super moon, April 25, 2021. The weather was nice and clear on the Sunday but the full moon wasn't until Monday. What to do? Take it Sunday in case Monday was cloudy, which it was. Rondeau Provincial Park, Ontario, Canada.

A supermoon is a full moon or a new moon that approximately coincides with the closest distance that the Moon reaches to Earth in its elliptic orbit, resulting in a larger-than-usual apparent size of the lunar disk as seen from Earth.

Up in the sky; I ain't had no lovin' Since April, January, June or July. 's no time, ain't no time to stay Outdoors and spoon; So shine on, shine on, harvest moon, For me and my gal. Just before midnight last night through a light haze. A supermoon is the coincidence of a full moon or a new moon with the closest approach the Moon makes to the Earth on its elliptical orbit, resulting in the largest apparent size of the lunar disk as seen from Earth.
