I don't have a belfry, so we had to settle for the gazebo.
We have a screened gazebo in the yard and thhis morning we had a bat hanging around.

It seems to be fine but I will check with the park naturalist just in case.

I don't know the species. I don't know much about bats except that they eat insects and are good for the environment.
And, no, they don't get caught in your hair.

Interesting. I always look for bats hanging around like this, but the only ones I see are when they are flying around at night in the street lights.
