Banana Belt
South western Ontario is often referred to as the Banana Belt. Usually we have milder weather due to the lake influence moderating the temperature.
This is Point Pelee, the southern most place in main land Canada. Pelee Island is a few miles out in the lake.
Not so much banana this year.
In the spring there is a great migration of birds. My favourite is the wood warblers.
