Where have you been? Originally uploaded by ricmcarthur Where's my supper? Hurry up! As we were coming back from a walk we saw one of the deer that come to our bird feeders everyday. Notch appears to be impatient for us to get home and put out extra bird seed for her. Notch is standing across the road from our cottage.

A new owl species? Originally uploaded by ricmcarthur This is where we see our screech owl. There was a new resident yesterday. There are Hawk owls and Eagle owls, Fish owls, Elf owls as well as Fearful, Barking and Laughing owl. So maybe this is the infamous Rondeau Chipmunk owl. As this is an owl roost, it might not be the best place for a chipmunk to stay.
