A small flock - 50 birds- of dunlin were feeding beside the road at a marsh just outside of Rondeau Provincial Park.

The kept on feeding and just ignored the bird watchers.

This marsh was all phragmities last. year. A removal experiment was started in the fall and so far wildlife has been returning. Egrets, GBH, Shovelers, osprey and now dunlin are being seen where there was nothing before.
