The Seedeaters

When I was down on the beach the other day, I noticed a small flock of birds flitting
through the beach grasses.
They were on the individual stalks which bent under their weight.
There seemed to be a good supply of seeds.
So much for the yard feeders

I love how they are hanging on for dear life for those seeds!
It's so amazing how much food a bird can find in the winter.
But you know our feeders are much appreciated.
