This was one of those moments you can only really experience in Africa. Driving around the corner during our evening game drive in Umfolozi-Hluhluwe, we were the only car to come across this very well-tempered, solitary Ndlovu walking down the road.

The funny thing about elephants is that, when they go downhill they're too heavy to stop themselves from picking up speed quickly, and they can't slow down until they get to level ground (which is why people often panic when they see elephants coming downhill, because it looks like it's charging at you).
