Alas, poor Yorick! I knew him, Horatio;

I had to look up the actual quote. For years I thought it was "ALas poor Yorick, I knew him well."

Evidentley this racoon didn't make it throught the winter.
At least I think it is a racoon.

Darwin at Work

Sometimes age, testosterone and alcohol aren’t the best mix.

It often ends up with a comment along the lines of “it seemed like a good idea at the time.”

These stout fellows decided to go for a polar bear style swim.
The ice was still in the marina, so they used the handy rocks lining the boat basin to try to break the ice.

The marina owner eventually came along and threw them out. This guy got style points for the lean.

After talking to them I could only shake my head. Two of them couldn’t swim.

Never do anything you don’t want to explain to the paramedics.

It was released the following day.

This is in Sandusky Ohio and has been for sale for at least 3 years.

I'm sure there is a buyer out there, somewhere.

The herons have started nesting in a tree along the bay.
There area at least 7 pairs, and they were flying in with nest building material.

They do look odd up there.
